 Do not allow your furniture to stand in pools of water over the winter period. Otherwise it will enjoy the outdoor life for many years.


After the first summer you may wish to stop oiling your furniture and let it naturally go a silver grey colour.

If you wish to keep it looking as it is give it a good scrub after the winter months using a warm soapy water and then oil as before. You may occasionally want to give your furniture a major refurbishment, this can be done using a belt sander.
