Our Product  Range:	Bramhall Woodware - Solid Oak Furniture The mighty Oak is one of the most spectacular looking hardwoods as well as being the most durable. Used for centuries in the construction of many of our most famous buildings, you will be very familiar with its qualities. We particularly love the look of these old timbers and have set about using this natural look in our Oak furniture, to this end many of the pieces are made from Green Oak, which basically means fresh sawn Oak.  Each piece will naturally develop its own unique characteristics as it seasons over a period of years. These will show themselves as splits, cracks or checking, we use partiallyseasoned timber for the tops of the furniture pieces so these may already be evident.  They do not affect the durability of the pieces, only add to the character.
